First, links to A Course In Miracles books that are in the public domain…

The beauty of having the course on your computer is that you can study subjects in depth. You can easily search for words and terms that are of interest to you, such as healing, forgiveness and Knowledge. You learn much more quickly.

When something in the edited ACIM doesn’t quite make sense, I often find it does when I refer to the Urtext. A free Urtext pdf file is available for download below.

Also, Mary Baker Eddy began writing a book called Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures approximately a century before ACIM was typed up by Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford. So Science & Health is another book you might like to study to learn more about healing, if ACIM is not clear to you. You can also visit Christian Science reading rooms (and their website) where there are books and journals full of articles (and online videos) that testify to the efficacy of the teachings of both S&H and ACIM. Both books refer to the bible. A link to Mrs. Eddy’s book is provided below. You can read it online or download it to your computer.

Text

The first section of A Course In Miracles (ACIM), the Text, consists of a series of beautiful essays that revolve around the importance of discerning the temporal (temporary) from the eternal: the Real from the unreal, Love from fear, Spirit from ego, Heaven from hell, and Knowledge from perception.

Learning to discern the difference  helps us put the external world into proper perspective, which allows us to spend more time in our natural state of peace, love, and joy, feeling the love in our hearts.

Workbook for Students

The second part of the course is the Workbook consisting of 365 lessons. In 2009, I (Auntie Patricia) made a series of videos to help us all (myself included!) study the lessons. The lessons help undo the faulty programming in our minds and replaces it with healthy thoughts.

The videos are on YouTube and can be viewed at the “Lessons” tab, above. You can sign up for an RSS feed or subscribe to get daily email reminders in a few different ways. See the “Subscribe” tab, above.

Manual for Teachers

The Manual for Teachers is a coaching for those who wish to truly integrate the course in their lives. What are the practical steps to take?

Clarification of Terms

Some terms used in the course are explained in detail.

Supplements

Click here and here for pdf pages full of colorful, helpful signs containing quotes from ACIM that you can print and use as bookmarks, signs on your refrigerator, to hang from the dashboard of your car, tape to your bathroom mirror, scatter around your desk at work, etc. Children love them too.

Click here for a sign appropriate for framing… it reminds you Who is really in charge. I suggest putting it in a prominent place you will see daily. Good reminder!

Another item you can print and frame… Carl Jung quote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious…”

And the bottom line sign for healing… “I am safe.”

Study cards for July, when studying Lessons 201 to 220 or anytime you’d like to be reminded of those great thoughts.

  1. My mother, Laure Virginia Bills Penn, loved ACIM and gave me the big book and encouraged me to read it! She went on to read the book at least 10 times before she passed..

Then my daughter, Donna Elizabeth Taylor Meyers started reading ACIM at least 10 times and continues to re-visit ACIM.

She suggested that I re-read “Song of Prayer. again I am wanting to find and print it out! I learn so much from my mother and daughters and ACIM! Thank you so much!

    1. Oh, Marilyn, THANK YOU for sharing that. Bless you, your mother and daughter. If the world practiced forgiveness, as described in ACIM, it would be a far sweeter place. I hope you found “Song of Prayer” on the Downloads page.
I have been reading and swooning over ACIM for 40 years and am still learning from it. It is by far the most artistically beautiful, helpful, practical book I have ever read. I particularly like the purple cover edition published by “Circle of Atonement”.
ACIM says that Knowledge is beyond the scope of its curriculum but that it will prepare us for Knowledge – and it does.
Even 50 years after having received Knowledge, I need preparation – daily reminders to let go of the chatter between my ears and to open myself to the Light and Love; to let go of fear, of guilt, of haunting memories and plans for the future, all things that are less than the Love that God IS… ACIM is endlessly inspiring.

To prepare us for Knowledge is the purpose of ACIM – to prepare us to KNOW God. I wrote a book that contains quotes from people who, throughout history, have attempted to describe Knowledge, the pure Light, unconditional Love, the Living Waters and celestial sounds. That was Jesus’ work when he was here – to show people that – see Matthew 13:10-17 – and in ACIM he is preparing us, so that when we are faced with an opportunity to receive Knowledge, we will be open and receptive – nonjudgmental, humble, hungry to have more than a book, an idea = ready for a deep connection with our Creator.
The section that describes best the beauty that awaits us in that inner kingdom is “Beyond the Body”. Exquisite!
You can download the combined version and search for any term – healing, willingness, salvation, etc – and get a nice collection of quotes on every subject you want to learn more about. Please tell your sister about the combined ACIM that can be downloaded & searched – she might enjoy it too.
      Big hug to you!

  2. This site is exemplary of LOVE’S Presence and the reason
why you have come here to visit……amen….enjoy and ……
Forgive on and on and on……chuckle!

  3. I thought I would point out that there is a slight problem with the text that is available here on-line. There are a few words left out. This appears to be a computer problem, as the omitted words are all italicized. An example is in the Song of Prayer, Chap. III, first paragraph, sentence 5. Two words are omitted. There are other instances.

    1. Thank you. I have noticed it has glitches. And it has English spellings. I now use the purple update from Circle of Atonement – both in hardback (it’s HUGE!) and as a kindle. I find it far more pleasant to read than the heavily edited version.

  4. Thank you for all. I was looking for the answer Is Psychotherapy a Profession? That will never happen. My hardbound copy of ACIM did not have this. It seemed difficult to find, then in one click many months later it has given to me through you.
Just to say, patience anyone. I read through the course 27 years ago and said I was not ready yet. It was November 2019 when something moved me again.

    1. So happy you happened upon this humble little corner of the internet. The supplements to ACIM are beautiful…. well, it all is. I love it.
Many people tell a similar story to yours. One woman I knew burned, drowned, tore up, threw away… several copies of the course before she settled down to seriously study it.

  5. thank you so much! I gave away my copy of ACIM that had the Song of Prayer in it, am starting a class tomorrow in it, and voila! Here it is!!

  6. This is amazing! Thank you so much for making this available for free. All blessings and love to you!

  7. THANK YOU so much for this. I am a student for several years now and this extra material is just what I needed. Blessings to you and to all
